To be reunited with Robbie the forever Rotten, Im so exited to see NY, never been there and to work with Stefan Karl again, its been a long time.

lots of premiers
Hi all
As you see ive added photos from two feature film premiers, Astrópia and Veðramót, both released this fall 2007.
Im very happy and proud with the result, especially if you concider that both where done with almost no preparation time and very little budget.
In Astropia we basically had to use what we found in our backgarden and in the stable for the monster part , and with that in mind Im very proud, it was fun to work with, very creative, but also very tuff.
I think we did a good job.
Vedramot was very sincere, sweet and my part was to find the right mood for the late ´70 with haircuts and colors but very little or no make up, and help to create the right caracters.
Now, Im in the theater for a couple of weeks creating the nose for Pinoccio, and then Im off to New York to be reunited with Stefan Karl ( Robbie Rotten ) to do his make up for a show, That will be so much fun, kind of miss that funny make up !!!
That I did about 300 times !!!!

Helsinki, Helsinki and again Helsinki
Its nice , dont take me wrong...
Been here for 3 weeks now waiting to go north to Oulu to start filming "Dark floors" with MR. Lordi.
Im very exited and look forward to start the real work.
We are getting all the special effect pieces from a guy called Jim Udenberg in Norway, He used to be the head of SFX department at Universal studios in Hollywood ( I think ).
Anyway, not much to tell now, will get back here later when things start rolling.

latest projects
ASTRÓPÍA: feature film shoot in 2006, Im very exited about this project where I had free hands in making fantasy make up and monsters. me and Helga Rós the costume designer had basically no time and no money to create a fantasy world. I must say Im very proud of the outcome and cant wait to post it here, but I guess we have to wait till late summer.
VEDRAMÓT: Feature film shoot in 2006, a very delicate project that was staged in the ´70, with also very little time I hope we managed to create a belivable look for that period.
ÖRSTUTT JÓL: Short film shoot in february this year about the Icelandic santa claus....horror movie..can´t say more
NOW....I think Im on my way to Finland to work on a horror movie written by Lordi....the last year winner of Eurovision song contest...very exiting !

a lot of time
on my hands now to finally do this...get my work on the web. I will be working on it for a while and hopefully I can update it as soon as I have a permission to post photos from ongoing projects.
